錄音文稿：	The Man Portable Air Defense System is a well known weapon for short range and low altitude air defense. It is designed with many attractive features. For example, it is compact, accurate, flexible, easy to deploy and cost-effective. In turn, it plays an very important role in many modern wars. With the development of emerging electronics and information technology, the operation mode of the modern warfare has changed gradually. As an example, in our system, the Man PADS is integrated into an advanced C4I system, which is called SmartHunter, and thus the whole equipment has the capabilities of information sharing, intelligent operation and networking. It is therefore be able to perform the functions of early warning, target localization, coordinated commanding, and very importantly, Identification of Friend or Foe. The system greatly enhances the MAN-PADS operation effectiveness without degrading its existing tactical advantages. Optionally, the SmartHunter can also be designed to control and command other air defense weapons, such as Anti-aircraft guns, and so on. SmartHunter consists of three parts: the radar subsystem, the photoelectric subsystem and the guided aiming subsystem. The radar subsystem is a three-dimensional target indication radar with low probability of interception. It can search and track low altitude and ultra-low altitude targets, such as bombing plane, fighter plane, armed helicopter, unmanned aircraft and cruise missile. Its detection range is up to 30km, which can effectively improve the target finding and tracking capabilities of the missile shooter. The radar adopts some state-of-the-art technologies: it uses the C band continuous wave. Its transmitting power is very low. It uses the self-adapted frequency hopping and anti-jamming technologies. It takes the advantages of digital beamforming and the self-adapted clutter mapping. It therefore serves the requirements for MAN-PADS guiding well. Under the challenging electromagnetic condition, the anti-interference performance becomes more and more important and difficult. In order to ensure the target tracking capability untamed in such cases, besides radar subsystem, SmartHunter is further equipped with a multispectral photoelectric subsystem. The multispectral photoelectric subsystem uses the optical detection mode. It can operate in heavy fog weather and the detection range is up to 30km. When working together with radar, it can automatically or manually track the target by following the guidance of radar data. On the other hand, it can search and track the target independently as well. As the optical detection mode is used, it will not be influenced from the electromagnetic jamming source and even zero risk of being intercepted. Furthermore, it is now much easier for target identification. The radar and the multispectral photoelectric subsystems can be mounted on a vehicle or a tripod, by which it can be used in various terrain conditions. SmartHunter is operated and commanded by the radar terminal, the photoelectric terminal and the command and control terminal. The radar terminal and the photoelectric terminal process the target data in real time. Through the communication controller, they transmit the data to the command and control terminal. It then provides the commander with the a series of parameters, such as the target information, firepower unit deployment data, target threat level, shooting data, shooting mode, shooting status confirmation, firepower disposition program and so on. The distance between the guided aiming subsystem and the radar subsystem is within 10km, in either wired or wireless mode. The guided aiming subsystem receives the control data from the command and control terminal to guide the shooter to aim at the target. These data includes the missile shooting parameters, battery startup, target interception, missile unlocking, etc, which effectively improve the perception of the shooter. Meanwhile, the missile shooter can also keep observing the target via the photoelectric sight. SmartHunter employs both radar and photoelectric mode to detection and track targets. Hence, it is able to guide the firepower unit to perform the blind shooting, which is highly desirable in the night. The interrogator can be installed to conduct the Identification of Friend or Foe, which is then sent the results to 12 missile shooters and 6 expansion firepower units. For a larger area and when adopting multiple sets of SmartHunter, the SmartCOM, a tactical group communication, command and control system can be used. It can control up to 5 sets of SmartHunter. By using this structure, a tactical level regional air defense C4I solution is built up. SmartCOM system is used to communicate and command the portable missile company or the antiaircraft artillery battalion in regional air defense operation. It performs the reconnaissance and centralized processing and display of the superior air information. Moreover, it can also command and control every portable missile operation command system, according to the operation instruction of the superior operation unit, and share the intelligence information with the adjacent operation units, to improve the coordinated operation capability of the firepower distribution and shooting command. SmartCOM system can comprehensively process the received air information. The maximum target processing capability is up to 450 batches. It can display the target flight path and parameter dynamically, rank the threat levels of the targets according to their different defense objects, display the deployment position and firepower range of the operation units and the information of the strategic locations within the defense area. The maximum air information display radius of SmartCOM is 300km. Generally, a regional air defense operation command unit consists of 1 SmartCOM and 5 SmartHunters. The communication range between SmartCOM and SmartHunter is 20km. The firepower covering zone is formed by connecting SmartHunter, Man PADS, the missile launcher, the anti-aircraft gun, and the anti-aircraft machine gun. The target destroying area is increased from 20 km2 to 60km2. The target destroying probability is averagely improved by 38%. SmartHunter uses a centralized Identification of Friend or Foe solution, by which the IFF information is shared by all the MAN-PADS shooters.
